Starting today, the Saphira RO Launcher takes care of keeping your client up to date.
What changes
- When you open the launcher, it checks for anything new and downloads only what has changed.
- If a game file is missing or damaged (for example, because your antivirus touched it), it repairs it on its own.
- Changes to the world (maps, texts, translations) arrive as small patches that are merged into the game without downloading the whole thing.
- The launcher also updates itself and restarts on its own when needed.
Security
Every update is digitally signed and every file is verified before it is installed. If something does not come from Saphira, the launcher rejects it.
If you have the old client, download the launcher again from Downloads: from then on, you will never have to download anything by hand again.
